1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

2.2. Membership registration is generally available to former students of Aburi Girls Senior High School and such other persons as the Association may admit in accordance with its constitution and bylaws.
2.3. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you will promptly update such information as it changes.
2.4. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at aogaglobal@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the Association’s mission and values. You shall not:
- Post, upload, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
- Impersonate any person, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Use the Site to solicit funds, advertise, or promote commercial products or services without our prior written consent;

4. Member Content and Submissions
4.1. The Site may allow you to submit, post, or display content, including photographs, memorial tributes, event information, and comments (“Member Content”).
4.2. You retain ownership of your Member Content. However, by submitting Member Content, you grant AOGA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, and display such content in connection with the Association’s activities, including on the Site and in Association publications.
4.3. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to your Member Content and that its use does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
4.4. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, or remove any Member Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Association or its members.
5. Privacy and Data Protection

5.2. Given the international nature of our membership, we endeavor to handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including, where applicable, the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6. Donations and Payments
6.1. The Site may permit you to make donations, pay dues, or purchase event tickets. All payments are processed through third-party payment processors, and their terms and privacy policies apply.
6.2. All donations are voluntary and, unless otherwise stated, non-refundable. Where a refund is requested, it shall be at the sole discretion of the Association and subject to applicable law.
6.3. You agree to provide accurate payment information and to promptly notify us of any billing discrepancies.

7.1. All content on the Site that is not Member Content—including the AOGA name, logo, crest, text, graphics, design, and software—is the property of the Association or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Association content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
