Meet Her Ladyship Akosua Asantewaa Sarpong, a member of the 2000 year group and a circuit court judge who was called to the Bench in May, 2023. Akosua wanted to take over her father’s law firm, Sarpong &Associates based in Kumasi, hence her desire to go into Law after Aburi Girls. She is proud of visiting various women groups and churches and talking to them about law and legal matters.
Aburi Girls made Akosua and she learnt how to combine studies with chores from Aburi Girls. She talks about how diffcult things were for her back in Aburi Girls when we didn’t have water and when she constantly struggled to get some in her barrel.
